Deidre Johnson is the CEO & Executive Director of the Center for African American Health and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver’s Nonprofit Leadership Program. An ASCEND Aspen Institute Fellow, a Transformative Leadership for Change Fellow and a Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Livingston Fellow, Deidre is passionate about racial equity, health, philanthropy and challenging systems to do better by the children and families they serve.
Deidre has spoken on over a dozen stages about Health Equity, Racial Equity, Philanthropy, Maternal Health and Women’s Leadership. Media outlets include: NPR’s 1A, Colorado Public Radio, NBC, ABC and CBS.
She has an AB in English from Princeton University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
