As CEO of Global Health Corps (GHC), Heather Anderson leads and manages a global team to drive GHC’s mission to mobilize a diverse community of effective health equity leaders. Since 2012, she has overseen GHC’s leadership development programming and training curriculum, partner recruitment and selection, and impact measurement activities in her roles as Senior Vice President of Programs and Chief Impact Officer.
Previously, Heather managed a portfolio of public and private sector clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Women Deliver and GlaxoSmithKline Vaccines as a consultant at Global Health Strategies. Heather also advanced reproductive justice initiatives as a Senior Program Officer at Planned Parenthood Global and established a youth program for EngenderHealth in Ethiopia. Before joining global health, Heather was a management consultant with Accenture. Heather studied business at the University of Michigan and earned her Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
