Jen Bloomer is an artist, community builder, and founder of Radici Studios, where she uses art as a tool for connection, self-discovery, and collective care. For more than two decades, Jen has guided people of all ages and backgrounds — from kids and teens to educators, parents, nonprofit leaders, and adults overcoming homelessness — to explore identity, creativity, and what it means to belong.
Jen’s art is rooted in relationships that stretch her perspective and deepen her belief in the power of shared humanity. Her vibrant murals and community art projects shine a light on human rights, dignity, and the ways we care for each other. Her public works include “How We Care,” a forty-foot mural created alongside thirty ER doctors at the height of the pandemic, a schoolyard shipping container mural on belonging painted with 400 elementary students, and a piece celebrating shared humanity on one of San Francisco’s iconic Hearts.
Jen’s art has traveled far beyond the wall. Her work has appeared in international shows with Shepard Fairey’s Amplifier Art, is part of the Library of Congress archive, and has been featured in multiple books that amplify messages of connection and justice.
Whether she’s painting a public art piece, guiding a group through an art workshop, or spending time with her family in nature, Jen brings people together through creativity and care. She believes that when we make art in community, we remember how deeply we’re all connected.
Cultivate creativity within you and you will shape the world around you.
I can't wait to have her back for future training sessions both with our team and with the larger school community. I would recommend her to any school looking to up level their culture of equity and inclusion while developing a greater sense of connection to one another and building a sense of belonging among both students and staff at their school.
